12月28日 ~561~ I survived!I spent most of xmas eve day and night as well as xmas day and night drinking.......OIY!
I'm not much of a drinker, so it was a slow and steady go. It has taken me two days to recover from that. I spent Boxing day in bed with the occasional appearance and attempt to clean the house, I think the longest I was up was about a hour and a half.......Yeah I will be toasting in the New Year with tea or coffee......
After My Mother dropped off the gifts and tickets (She did stay a while to have tea and goodies), she went home for a bit until it was time to go to my brother's for dinner.
When we got to my brother's Tessa beat me to my sister and was thanking and hugging her, then I came barreling threw and push Tessa out of the way and TACKELED my sister (She remained standing, I was quite impressed!).
My brother who was peeling potatoes at the time, says very drolly " I take it they know about thier gift."
I went on to babble excitedly about the trip and all the things I wanted to do and see, my sister just laughed and said, "See? I told you Cindy would be more excited then Tessa....LOL!" (she took Tessa to Disneyland when she was 4).
It really was a fun and loud night......But I tell you hardwood floors, fuzzy socks and impaired balance DON'T mix......*rubs still sore back side*

12月25日 Holy Freakin Christmas!!!!!!!! (560)It is official I AM one spoiled brat!
I must accept that, own it and try to be worthy of it....LOL!
Woke up this morning watched Tessa open her gifts. She was VERY pleased with what she got:

She was quite please and saying that "This Christmas was the BEST ever and I was the BEST Mom EVER!" Then my Mother showed up.....OIY!!!! From Grandma to Tessa.

My Mother also brought over gifts from my sister for us...... To Tessa From Auntie.

Now you would think that is all VERY well and good and call it done right? mmmmmm NOPE! From my sister to me and Tessa
AND
TWO TICKETS TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOLY COW! I'M GOING TO CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!!! My sister, Tessa and I are going to drive from here to there along the Oregon coast, with stops in San Diego, San Francisco....Do the whole California experience................ I'm in shock.....................UTTER SHOCK! My sister SOOOOOO ROCKS! Now I know why my Mother was so insistant about us getting our pass ports.......LOL! I Hope every one is having a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS DAY! 12月20日 ~559~ Favorite Christmas MemoriesI have a few but this one sticks out in my mind right now....
Christmas Eve 3 years ago we had an unexpected guest, my nephew's step brother.
It was about 10 o'clock at night my sister and I were busy wrapping presents, and indulging in a bit of Christmas cheer, and in walks my nephew Danny with his step brother Wes.
I don't know why he wasn't with his Mother that year but he wasn't.
As my sister and I were hanging the stockings we felt bad about not having one for Wes, we decided that just wouldn't do so we tore threw the house looking for things to put in a stocking for him and going through the families gifts to see which ones could be giving to Wes.
We did find a couple of things but of course my sister and I being who we are, decided it just wasn't enough.....We got in her car and hit every 24hr corner store and gas station in a 10 mile radius of our house.
The streets were empty, we were BLASTING Christmas music on the car stereo.
My sister was driving a little too fast, not good I know, but we were having fun! At one point my sister put a WICKED Uie in a gas station parking lot right in front of a cop!\
I swear at one point of the turn we were on two wheels. I thought the cop would pull us over....he didn't.....PHEW!
Well after raiding the stores we came home quite happy with ourselves, the best part was the look on Wes's face when he woke up in the morning to see that he had a full stocking AND gifts under the tree.
He was very surprised and moved by what we had done.
My sister and I told him "We didn't do it, Santa did."......LOL! Yeah he didn't buy it.......But I think we had Tessa half way convinced , because we refused to take credit for it. All that Christmas Day she kept saying, "You got that stuff for Wes didn't you?' And I answred "No, Santa did." ...lol!
It was a great Christmas that year.
What's your favorite Christmas memory? 12月17日 ~558~ I'm here, I'm here! haven't intentionally made this into a once a week blog....It has just happened.......sorry 
This week has been busy with the kids and getting this ready for Christmas, the kids are getting really excited, bouncing off the walls and they aren't even out of school yet......YIKES!
My new tree is up and all pretty, there is even on gift under it, (It's for Rick) I tried to get him to open it tonight when he was here but he wouldn't do it.....LOL!
You see, I really wanted to give it to him on Christmas Eve but I can't get a straight answer out of him as to weather or not he will be here that night.....grrrrr! He drives me CRAZY! (sometimes I wonder why I even bother.)
Saturday I went shopping with April it was rushed but fun, her last chemo treatment is set for Christmas Eve day.......YAY!
Then the radiation treatments start after that...yuck! But at least she can see the light at the end of the tunnel now.
My Mother is so cute! She has been looking for high top sneakers for me (preferably in bight red or orange) but she finally gave up....She just can't find my size, I take a size 5W and believe me when I say it is VERY hard to find .....Most of the time I make do with a 6 but she couldn't even find that! She said to me, "Shoe shopping for you is HELL!" I said "Yeah tell me about it! THAT'S why I asked YOU to get them for me."........LOL!
So anyway she said she was sorry but because she couldn't find them and she had already given me a micro-wave (early Christmas gift because my old one blew up on me.) that she didn't have a gift for me to open Christmas morning. She was actually quite upset about that, I told her not to worry about it I was more than happy with the microwave and that she didn't have to get me anything else. I didn't mention I was having just has hard of a time trying to find what she asked me to get her, but I'm bound a determined to find it!
I did get her BIG boxes of Cherry Blossom's and Liquorice All sorts (two of her favorite candies) both of which make me gag just thinking about them......YUCK! But she loves them so wadda ya gonna do right?

((((Hugs))) 12月10日 ~557~ MondayThe weekend is over!
Normally I hate Mondays (today is really no different) but I had such a LONG weekend that I'm glad it's over!
I ended up having the boys over night Saturday.......I had completely forgotten that thier Mother was going to her office Christmas party AND I had said yes I would take them over night, Saturday was also my Rick's birthday and he got a little bitter with me for having the kids because he wanted to come over and spend his birthday with me, but because the younger brother's issues it's hard to have people in the house he doesn't know, and because it was getting late I didn't want to leave Tessa with the boys and go out, so yeah Rick was a little bitter with me......Oh well!
I only PART of my decorations up, mostly because when I took my tree out of the box it was mangled beyond repair!
I guess that's what I get for not supervising Tessa when she took it down last year.....
I was rather upset and launched into a lecture about being careless and rushing things, and told her that now we have to wait until payday (the 15th) to get a new tree, and Oh yeah because of the time of year, it very well maybe a small table top tree.
Tessa apologised and without telling me she called my Mother to come pick her up so she could go and buy me a new tree....
It was kind of funny because Tessa left the house while I was in the shower leaving a note that said only "I went for a walk I'll be back later."
About 2 hours later when I was at the point where I was going to send out a search party for her, she walks in the door saying, "Don't rip my face off, I was out with Grandma!" She also had a new 5 foot tree she paid for with her savings....Aww!
So that tree is going to be put up tonight.
I will have pictures but it might take a little while because my digital camera is busted so we are using a regular camera, as soon as I finish the roll I will have the put to disk and post them.

(((HUGS))) 12月8日 ~556~ I have a flashlight...I'm still kind of in that "black hole" but it's not too bad I have a flashlight and warm blanket and there is a rope ladder at the ready when it's time for me to climb out....
I sort have a idea why I fell in the hole, I just need a little more time to work it out.
I'm still doing what I need to do but, I have entered hermmit mode yet again. At least I'm aware that that is what I'm doing and I can minimize the side effects.
Tessa was having pain again only this time instead of it being her side and stomach it was her chest that scared me and I tried everything I could to get her to the ER but she wouldn't go she kept saying it wasn't that bad, so I tried to get her into see our Doc because I knew he could get her to the hospital even if he had to sedate her, but by the time we got there he had seen all the patiants he could for the day. So I took her to anther walk-in and after some Momma bear threats and a jack ass of a doctor coming with in a inch of being bitch slapped , she got checked out and X-rays were taken, the Doc didn't find anything with his exsamination and the X-rays won't be back until Tuesday.
That's OK because I figured it out on my own what was causing her pain, I was trying different things to ease her pain everything but pain killers because her side and stomach pain doesn't respond to pain meds but, at one point I decided to give it a try and they WORKED so then I realised it was because she had pulled something, we went through everything she had done and figured out that it was her backpack.....time to get a rolly one.
I have the boys today, last week I had 4 days off and didn't have to look after anyone but Tessa. It was SO nice but today I have the boys and they just don't want to be here and won't listen. It's going to be a LONG day!

And it fits my mood right now.....Or more like I REALLY need the reminder....I'm in a black hole......
November 22/06 Throw away peopleI was reading another blog the other day and it got me thinking about throw away people.
Some would use that term to describe the homeless or drug addicts and such but, that's not what I mean or even believe.
What I mean is people in our lives we just let slip by the wayside.
You know the friend from school you swore you'd keep in touch with but, haven't heard from or called in years.
Or the one you run into on the street and exchange numbers with but just can't seem to find the time to call.
Then there are family members that for some reason or another just disappear.
I have been guilty of "thowing" people away, not realising or believing how much my friendship meant to them.
I came face to face with one of them a few months back and I wrote about it on here, I won't retell the story but suffice to say I was truly shocked to see that in the short time I knew this person (we lived in the same apartment building for about 6 months then I moved.), I had become someone they cared about and they still wondered how I was doing even after all these years.
The really sad part is I couldn't even remember thier name.
And there are others I have let go through thoughtlessness or anger.
It is a horrible feeling to know that you are just a "throw away" to someone you truly cared about or thought of as a friend.
I've been a "throw away" as well and I can tell you it hurts like hell in some cases especially when you realise that, that person can walk away from you without a second thought or glance as if you never exsited in the first place...But then again what goes around comes around right?
I guess in the end what I'm trying to say is try and be kind because you never know just how much you can affect someone.
12月1日 ~554~ What I did todayK. The tree didn't get put up because my mother and I decided to brave the roads and the hell hole that is Walmart this time of year.
Honestly I was ONLY going to get the cleaning solution for the steam cleaner really I was.....*sigh* I ended up leaving there with 6 bags and a couple of bruises....I swear sometimes I'm invisable! People just don't watch where they are going, no matter how hard I tried to stay out of the way I still got hit by shopping carts.
And don't even get me started on how STUPID driver's get when it snows around here.
Now as you all know by now I don't drive but even I know that if you still have your balding SUMMER tires on then maybe, JUST maybe you SHOULDN'T DRIVE in the SNOW!
Despite all that my Mother and I got a lot done and I finally found something for the boys I look after.
When I got home.......By rights I should have blown my top but I just couldn't.....LOL!
I walked into the house Tessa had her music blaring and it looked like a hurricane hit, but there was Tessa DANCING in the middle livingroom just having a blast...It was so cute! And the looked on her face when she realised I was watching.....PRICLESS!
Good night! ~553~ More Evil White Stuff ....Is on the ground here but, the weatherman says it will rain pretty hard on Sunday or Monday so it won't be too bad.
Tessa is so happy about it.
She LOVES the snow....meh, good for her.
Time to get all the decorations out and put them up....YAY!
I actually have a FULL two day weekend this weekend, no other kids but my own......double YAY!
I'm going to steam clean the carpets and the furniture, put the tree up and enjoy a very clean house......So OK it might only last a day, but oh what a nice day it will be!.........LOL!
