I'm still here I just don't know what to write about......
I've started to write an entry about hundred times, because I have things to say.....No really I do!
They just won't come out.
~sigh~
Yes I have been popping into other spaces to see what's going on, and being a bad, bad girl by not leaving comments.....But (oiy! Un-intetional pun!) fiber doesn't work on brain-clogs. 2月26日 GRRRRR BLARG.......Were the first and only words Tessa said to me this morning.
I don't know what they mean, but some how they just seem to fit this rainy Monday morning....

 It is no longer a rainy Monday, it is a SNOWY Monday....GRRRRR BLARRRRRG! 2月25日 I forgot..To add this to yesterdays entry.
When I went up to the store yesterday I ran into one of the cashiers, I'm friendly with a few of them I go in there almost daily so they all say "Hi, how are you?"
Well this one is just a young girl that graduated high school last year, and when ever I see her she up dates me one how her life is, she's having a bit of a rough go because she is caring for her very ill boyfriend and working, the whole bit, from the sounds of it she really doesn't have any family, so if she wants to unload once in a while fine with me.
Well anyway as we were chatting I asked if she knew anyone that needed a sitter, (I have no shame! I will find a way to put that question into any convertation.)
Well she tells me that she does know that one of the customer sevice desk clerks is having problems with her current babysitter....(ie) The babysitter is using the juice and diapers the mother sends with her child, for her own (the babysitters') child, on top of charging an arm and a leg!
So I gave my information to the girl to pass on, and hopfully I will know if I have a job some time this week
Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Some people think I'm crazy for not charging all that much to watch kids....
And believe me with some of the ones I've looked after I think so too!..LOL!
But there are a few reasons I charge the bare minimum:
1. I know the daycare nightmare I lived it when Tessa was little.
It is so hard to find decant childcare at a decant price, and if you happen to work shift work or your kid is the least bit hyper, well then you can pretty much forget about finding anything!.
And 2. I'm not greedy, I don't need that much extra to get by comfortablely.
Quite honestly, I don't find looking after little ones all that much work, I mean really what's so hard?
When they are hyper or bored. you pull them off the curtain rod (that they have climbed for the 3rd time because there was nothing better to do.) and take them to the park, swimming pool or whatever....Not really a hardship in my mind.
I know the last batch of kids I looked after were a handful, but really I had more of a problem with the parents then I did the kids.
And since this one I'm hoping to look after is only 2 and half there shouldn't be all that many issues.
So again fingers crossed!

But you just have to love YouTube! 2月24日 It must be trueI have been called heartless twice in two days, so it must be true.
The first time was yesterday, I was going to watch one of my neighbour's little boy. I've watched him before but not for a while so when they got here he pitched a fit....A real good one at that too!
Any way instead of giving him a hug and a kiss and letting him know that she will be back soon, the Mother sits with him and cuddles him and says, "I'm not leaving until you calm down."
Can you BELIEVE that! Like the kid is EVER going to calm down now!
Let me tell you I just about drew blood I was biting my tongue so hard.
I did say, "Just go, I can handle some crying."
The Mother says, "Oh I can't do that, he will throw up."
I said, "Yeah so? I have cleaning supplies."
And that's when I got called heartless......Well I guess she won't be asking me to babysit again since I'm just so cold, now will she?
Then there was a little earlier today....
A friend of mine had tried to call me all day today.......my ringer was off.....(Ooops! My bad!)
She was so desperate to talk to me and I wasn't answering that she was going to call a crisis line....
The reason for the melt down?
She didn't know how to tell someone that offered her a job, that she couldn't accept the job, even though the reason she couldn't take the job is completely valid.
Now I have to tell you I honestly thought she was going to tell me that the results of the medical tests she had a couple of weeks ago were bad, (very thing is fine that way) by the panicked messages she left me.
No all this drama was because she couldn't tell some one she had allergies....
So I tell her that she is over reacting and that she needs to stop and think about what is best for her and her health and stop worrying about hurt some one's feelings, especially when she's not and that her indecision is waisting the other person's time.
After that is when she called me cold and heartless, just because I didn't see (and still don't) the emotional problem she was having?
Maybe I am coming a cross as cold to her, because I'm not jumping into pick up the pieces for her anymore.....I'm having a hard enough time keeping my life together, never mind trying to solve her problems as well.
I should add here that I'm not sad, hurt or otherwise offended that these people or anyone else for that matter, thinks I'm heartless.
In both these situations I believe I was a realist.

There are many things in our lives that change us
I could go on about different moments that lead to the person that I am today, but I won't.
I'm not even going to say that the moment I gave birth to my daughter changed me.....It didn't, I was always a mother I just had to wait a little while to meet her.
I do believe that happy things can change you, but I can boil it down to one moment almost 9 years ago (the passing of my father) and 15 words said about me just under a year ago.
Those two things changed me like nothing else, they unfortunately wounded my soul, each in a different way, but both can never be completely healed.

Can someone tell me...What is so hard about teaching your kids right from wrong?
I mean really!
For some time now we have been dealing with this stupid twit bullying Tessa.
When it first started Tessa didn't really stick up for herself or tell anyone because we had just moved here and she hadn't made all that many friends, and to be honest she didn't really try too either for that first year.
Well anyway when she did tell me what was going on I of course went to the school and talked with the teachers and the very useless Principal who refused to believe it wasn't Tessa's fault until I said that if he didn't do something about this twit I was going to go to the school board, that got the twit a detention and switched out of Tessa's class, and she left Tesssa alone for a while.
Nothing we ever did worked for very long because the twits parents would never come to meetings or accept phone calls.
Well when Tessa started grade 8 it started all over again, Tessa tried to deal with it on her own but that didn't work....
So again we had classes switched and letters sent home and all that useless crap.......You know the school says they have a zero tolerance policy on bulling but they really don't do much to stop it, and when told about it they (the teachers) say "Oh I haven't seen anything like that." Or "There are just too many kids." That's a load of crap!
If I can take 6 kids to a park and have them go in 6 different directions, and know where and what each one is doing, you can be aware of what's going on right under your nose in a closed classroom with no more then 20 kids in it.
Not to offend any of the teachers out there, I know there are some good ones out there, but sadly they are few and far between.
Well that leads us to today.....
This twit has started up again, and again Tessa has tried to deal with it but this time she didn't wait to me tell what was going on.
I went to the school today to have a chat with the principle AND the parents of this twit, they finally agreed to a meeting but only AFTER I threatened to charge their darling child with harassment.
As I'm trying to talk to the parents the kid is mouthing me off and being disrespectful, when she said something nasty about the way I walked Tessa just about knocked her out.....All I did was look at the parents and say, "Yeah you did a great job with that one."
The mother cried and kept saying "Oh I don't know what to do with her!" (Yeah give her to me for a week, I'll straighten her out.)
In the end I didn't get what I wanted which was to have the kid removed from the school, I will not remove Tessa because despite this twit Tessa loves her school and the friends she now has there.
But if I hear about anything else I am going to the police, I have also warned the school that if Tessa snaps and beat the crap out of this twit I will not accept her being suspended or expelled.
So we will see what happens next.

Cindy Just a little humour for todayA lesson to be learned from typing the wrong email address: 2月21日 Another day dawns....Well not really, it's still very dark outside.
Just like it was yesterday when I woke Tessa up around the same time and bugged, harassed, and generally irritated her until she agreed to go out for breakfast with me.
We get going out the door and she looks at me and says, "You are just too chipper for this early in the morning."
 Yes I did have a little extra bounce in my step, I was just happy to have her home!
Because Cadets and other things that are just easier to get to from my Mother's she has been staying there a lot lately, my Mother could drive her back here, but most nights she's just too tired to do it, so Tessa stays and goes to school from there...
It's not bad really homework is getting done, and I talk to her 2 or 5 times a day..lol!
But I miss having her here at home.
She's been home for the last 2 days and it has been very nice, she has Cadets tonight but I told my Mother I want her back here tonight.

2月19日 Monday is hereAs a general rule Mondays suck for most people..
I've never noticed it being any worse then any other day of the week, I'm more likely to have a really bad Saturday then I am a bad Monday.
As of late because of what's going on around here (some of which I have written about and some I haven't.) My entries have been.....Shall we say? On the bitchy or whiny side. For that I apologize.
You know how when you see the lotto jackpots get up there into the double digits you start to dream about what you would do with all that money?
I was doing that today, as you know I have waaaaay too much time on my hands...lol!
I'm being completely honest here when I say; Yes I would help out friends and family, but after that there are only one or two charities I would donate to.
I like to believe that my day to day living wouldn't change all that much, other than moving to a nicer neighbourhood and having some nicer things not much would change for me.
The nicest thing would not having to stress about money ever again.....Oh how lovely would that be?!
And yes there is one indulgence I would have, and you all know what that would be....
I would travel and see as many RS concerts as I could stand...and that's ALOT!....LOL!
So since I haven't had any luck what so ever with my own numbers or even quick-picks...
you guys pick okay?

Cindy 2月18日 So Anyway...After the day I had I really wanted to just disappear.....But of course I can't do that so I settled for hitting the couch and watching a scary movie....The Covenant, it was good not too scary but good.
Because I had been in a state of high temper all day, that by the time the movie was over (8pm) I was so tired I fell asleep on the couch! I DON'T do this, I just don't sleep on couch but I ended up waking up a couple hrs later and pulling my sorry ass to my bed where I promptly fell asleep again.
A deep dreamless sleep.
It was WONDERFUL! Because I had slept so soundly when I woke up I fully expected it to be like 7 am....but NO! it was only 1 am .....ARRRRG!
And guess what?
I'm up for the rest of the night.
(sigh)
As to the day I had.....
It started out alright, but very quickly went down hill from there, Because I said I would go to a play with a friend of mine and couldn't back out of it, I had to turn down a babysitting job which really ticked me off because I NEED any type of job I can get right now, but because I promised that I would go to this play and my friend had the tickets already I felt I had to go and I was pretty much OK with it.
Well anyway I was all ready to go and just waiting for my friend to come over or even just call and the time is passing, and of course she waits until the last minute to call....When I answered the phone I was in the middle of trying to figure out a problem (that I couldn't figure out.) and making up flyers to hand out....Anyone need a Nanny?
So anyway needless to say I was a little cranky...
My friend asks me why, I tell her and I don't hold back, but no where in that whole convertation do I say I'm not going to go to the play, as I'm trying to exsplain this to her, she HANGS UP on me!
GRRRRRR!
If there is one thing you DON'T do to me when I'm already a little ticked off, is hang up on me when I'm trying to exsplain something. I tell you my head almost exsploded!
Then when I phone her back she doesn't pick up her phone....At this point all I'm thinking is, "Grow the HELL up."
Finally she phones back fully exspecting me to go the play still even though we are going to be a half a hour late. Honestly when will this woman learn life doesn't work on late!
So the day was a wasted day, no play, no job thus no money.....Just because this woman can't be on time to safe her life!
I was in such a temper because I tried to calmly talk to her about this and she just wouldn't listen, she just doesn't get it!

Travel plans and paper work and the un pleasant business part of it it all.
Carl had been sick for some time so they knew it was just a matter of time, but because he was not my father and I didn't really know him, I was not kept in the loop, so yes I was surprised and saddened at the loss of life, but life will get back to normal a lot quicker for me then it will for them all I really can do is be there if there is anything they need.
Tessa is doing good her stomach hasn't bothered her in a little while and the ear infection is clearing up, it was a bit of a close call though, because she wasn't telling me that her ear hurt, the infection almost took her hearing in that ear!
I was so angery with her for not telling me but, she said she didn't want to worry me with yet another illness and she thought it would go away....GRRR KIDS!
Here's a tip for you....
If your kids have iPODs, MP3 players or whatever that they listen to wth ear buds, make sure they use BOTH ear buds other wise the uneven pressure on the ear drum will cause problems, or even better yet...thow away the ear buds and get them real earphones that DON'T go in the ear.

Don't really have anything to say but, I'm going to a play tomarrow it should be a lot of fun.....No I'm not going on a date with the bus driver. It's a girls day out, although we are taking the bus so I might see him anyway..lol!
Should be a nice break, things have been crazy around here, and doesn't look like it is going to slow down any time soon.

If you don't have any of those, a mop or broom works too.....
Dancing is good for the soul, it doesn't matter if you think you can't, everyone can....Just let the music wash over you and move.

ALL!
I'm watching 2 of the kids, (the brother and sister) I used to look after for the rest of the week, even though the oldest is old enough to watch the younger one, she is having a hard time controling the boy.
So after the second day in a row that she has come to my door asking for help with the boy the Mother and I decided it would be best that they come to my house in the mornings for a bit.
I honestly believe that it is just too much for the older one, the boy is a handful.That and the fact the mother believes he can do no wrong, makes it hard on the girl to do what she needs to do, so for the rest of the week, maybe longer, I'm going to watch them hopfully give the girl a bit of a break.
I can already see the girl relaxing a bit.
I'm not charging the mother, I'm doing it to help the older child.

I can't in all fairness name names but I want to let everyone know when I said there was someone snubbing me I had one person in mind, they used to come here and leave comments all the time and I would leave comments on their space and up until a couple of days ago I was still commenting on their space without a thought of them not commenting back, I completly understand not having time to get to every body, or even not having anything to say on a particular subject....But what bothered me and to be honest I DO feel a little childish about letting it bother me, is the fact that we have a lot of the same blog friends and this person is commenting on thier spaces, even going as far to comment about my comments but doesn't have the decancy to come right out and tell me that I have offended them in some way....
Like I said I feel sort of silly to let this bother me, but it does and I felt I had to say something....Because my friends here on spaces mean a lot too me, you people have been a great source of comfort, support and laughter to me when I need it the most. I really don't know what I would have done this past year if I didn't have you guys and gals to spill my guts to every day....

Cindy 2月12日 Bits and Pieces 2I went over to my Mother's to see Tessa, and she is doing fine.
Yes it is frustrating that she is getting sick all the time but it is all part and parcel of the same thing, the stomach problem has weakened her immunity so she catches colds very easily, and you know what schools are like, they are nothing more then germ breeding grounds.
A little while ago I wrote about the over night boy/girl party and how Tessa and her friend were pulling the "If Kay's Dad says she can go can I?" thing, I felt quite safe in the fact that Kay's Dad would say No...Well Kay has been working on her Dad for the the last few weeks, and the stupid fool CAVED! So now I have both girls bugging the hell out of me!
Even if they had more than 3 days to work on me, my answer would still be "I don't think it's appropriate and you will not be staying the night, and if you don't stop bugging me you won't be going at all!" MOTHER HAS SPOKEN!
Well that's it for me tonight, I did want to talk about a couple of other things but I'm too tired to do the subjects justice.....

Cindy Bits and PiecesTo start with I'm sorry I am not accepting any more friends requests from people who I have not seen around spaces, I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with the friends I already have and for those I haven't been around to see in a while I'm sorry, I do truly appreciate you coming by and leaving comments, and I will do my best to come and say hi as soon as I can.
As for the one or two of you that are actually snubbing me.....I wish you all the best and take care, and be rest asured I will not be visiting your spaces again.
Now that piece of nasty busines is done....
The Bus driver called last night to say that he had a good time the other night, we will be going out again some time next week, not sure when as I may have to go to Calgary to help a friend with a sad situation with his Mother.
He wants to go there and see what he can do for her there, but he may end up having to bring her back here and that's where I come in he'll need someone to help him care for her on the trip back.
Tessa has been at my Mother's for the last few days, she goes there most Saturdays so she doesn't have to get up early Sunday to make it to Drill Team practice, it's a lot closer to my Mother's place then it is to here so that in it's self is not unusual, but she didn't go to practice this week she ended up going to the Doctor's instead, which is also sadly starting not to be that unusual....Tessa has been fighting a pretty nasty cold and has been doing alright but now she has a bad ear infection, it is the first one she's had since she got her tonsils out and let me tell you she is one ticked off little tadpole!
She hates to miss anything to do with Cadets and she had to miss it this week, but she now has all the meds she needs to get better and she's staying at Grandma's to get spoiled with all the video games and movies she wants..LOL!
Mom just makes her stay in bed and eat chicken soup when she's sick but Grandma lets her play video games, so yeah she's staying at Grandma's. I will go over today to check on her, I know she's in good hands but I still want to see my girl, I really do miss her when she's gone!
Well I'm off to do some errands and to see my girl, I will try to visit around a little later.
